About Abbeyfield York Society

Learn more about our society and our retirement homes in York

Find high quality, friendly retirement homes in York

The Abbeyfield York Society was established in 1962, by a group of volunteers, and active support from many local organisations such as York Lions, York Rotary, York Inner Wheel and York Medical Society.

We pride ourselves in offering a quality, homely and comfortable residence in a caring environment, with staff whose first concern is the welfare of all our residents.

The Executive Committee of the society is made up entirely by volunteers, and has overall responsibility for the administration of the home and compliance with its corporate responsibilities.
